I am a 10 hcp wishing to improve my fairways hit. I average less than 40 % per round at a cost of approx 2 to 5 extra strokes a round due to errant shots (most pull hooks with some blocks due to overcompensation). I have be fitted for several shafts and drivers (95 swing speed, smooth tempo, little loading) with limited sucess over the last 5 years. I purchased a used 905S with a Graffaloy Blue 65 Stiff shaft (standard length). I hit this driver far better than anything tested in the last 5 years. The size, weight, and feel are better than anything tested. I loose a little distance (approx 7-10 yds) compared to other driver, but trade off is worth it. I average around 50% fairways hit and know it shaves a couple of strokes off due to confidence and accuracy. Question: What NEW Titleist Driver mimics the specs of this driver so I can have a starting place for a fitting should I deciede to update? Also, how can I purchase a Titleist Driver headcover for the 905S either the originial design or a new one??
