Yes. Cathi touched on this subject in a similar thread earlier in the month. My AP1s are the same way. Her response below: " The serial number will appear only on your 6 iron if the specs, and set configuration are standard.  If you changed the specs or the set configuration, the serial number will be on all the irons. your clubs might have been custom made perhaps. loft or lie change, shaft change, grips, etc.

If they were ordered something other than standard.

any custom set will have it on all of the irons, Custom can mean as little of different grips ordered, different flex, shaft, swingweights, lofts/lie angles or a mixed set or less of a set (less than 8 clubs)  basically your set was not stock off the wall at a retailer it was ordered

Yes, this is normal. What if you lost your six iron, then you wouldn't have the serial number.

I'm guessing that you had your irons custom fit!

If so, this would be the reason why you have etchings on all of your irons.

Stock irons generally only have an etching on the 6 iron.

  8. Thank you for the replies, infact i was fitted for the clubs 1 degree flat and an extra wrap of tape under the grips. btw this is my first titleist product and i just want to say amazing!! the feel and quality is superb.
