You can definitely mix and match the current 710 line and most likely the 712 line.  Currently you can even mix all four models!

Hey Ryan I have a question for you on this topic.  If someone was mixing the CBs and MBs, at which iron would you suggest the switch?  3,4,5 CB and then rest MB?  Maybe the 6 still a CB?  What do you see the most?  Because I plan to mix the CBs and MBs when the 712s come out.

For me it was just a psychological choice to go blade at 8iron because I feel like 155 and in, I should have the green light to attack pins.  For the cavities 7 iron and up, I wanted the make sure to lower expectations and hit greens.  RC
