  1. I was just wanting some opinions on these wedges I got the 54.11 the 58.08 and the 62.07. How do the feel? Are they light?

I just played my first round with the 54.11 and the 60.07. Two tap-ins, an almost chip in, and a sand save convinced me I made the right choice. Initially, I was concerned what the C-C grooves would mean, but now I'm not.

Light or heavy will depend on your shaft and expectations. I was replacing some older Vokeys with an S400 shaft. Now, I have the S300 shaft, and they are noticeably lighter.

I have the 54-11 c-c, 60-07, and 64-07. The specs on swingweight are D5 for all 3. I love the feel of them. I recently acquired the 54-11. I have had the 60-07 since Jan and my performance around the greens is rather lethal (I've holed out for birdies a couple times and saved quite a few pars). The 64-07 (has a composite grind sole) is great for dropping shots on a dime. The 54-11 has been great getting out of bunkers and for most general purpose pitching.

    They generally are lighter

I've got the SM 54.11 and 58.08. They are my favorite clubs along with my 50-06. They are not too light, just right for my wedge play. I found Mizunos to be a bit heavier and TM a bit lighter. Clevelands are nice, but the Vokey head shape is a bit flatter on the leading edge and I think it cuts through turf better for my swing. Enjoy!

I had Cleveland CG15 DSG 58 and 64 wedges for about a year and a half (mid 2009-Jan 2011). I was pretty deadly with them but the limitation is they are terrible off hard-pan or tight lies (I carried my Snake Eyes 60-10 as a backup). These were great out of wet bunkers. I had a Vokey 258-12, along with an Alien 64 between 2007 and mid 2009. The 258-12 was a good general purpose pitching tool but the limitation was long bunker shots and it was not so good out of a hard or wet bunker. I also didn't know anything about the importance of proper lie angles at that time. The 54-11 basically does just about anything: soft sand, wet and firm sand, general purpose pitching and chipping off all lies. The 60-07 is very deadly within 25 yards. The 64-07 is great for greenside bunkers where one has to drop the ball on a dime on the green. It is far superior to the CG15 DSG even though the sole may be similar.
  7. thank all of you that replied i am going to play my first round with them tomorrow and i am looking forward to some improvements around the green.
