  1. Hi

I recently purchased a second hand 910F (with a Diamana Kai'li 75 shaft) online and noticed that the "certified authentic" sticker on the shaft doesn't have the "Titleist" logo on it and also doesn't have a serial number.  It is the usual silver sticker (which appears to be polairsed) with the orange/green top and some hologrammatic writing.   It looks legit - it just has no serial number on it.

The serial number on the head of the club is 259442W.  It came to me second hand from a shop in Adelaide, South Australia.

Just wondering how concerned I should be that the club is a fake.

    Thanks

    Hi David,

Thanks for the question.  Here is a link to more information on the Security Label program that contains details around what security features you should look for and what the authentic label looks like. This should help you with a visual comparison.

As for your concerns around the authenticity of the club, your best bet to ensure you are purchasing authentic Titleist equipment is to always buy from an authorized Titleist retailer.

Unfortuantely there has been an increase of counterfeit golf products making their way into the marketplace. While we have a program to aggressively pursue those who engage in these practices, some counterfeit product finds its way into the marketplace, especially via the internet.

Acushnet Company vigorously protects its intellectual property. The potential consequences of counterfeiting and/or selling counterfeits can include fines, product confiscation as well as possible imprisonment. Please be assured that we investigate all leads in this type of illegal activity and will take appropriate action against the sellers.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email them directly to ip@acushnetgolf.com. Thanks a lot and I hope this helps.
