    I am a bit curious as to what the tour van uses on the current 710 MB irons to get them in a matte satin finish. I can see that they are run through a sander or finishing wheel, but what are they using a Scotch Brite wheel? This seems like an easy DIY deal. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I took a Scotch Brite pad to my irons.  It takes the shine off the chrome.  I like the way they turned out.  Not quite the same look as we see on the Tour models.  I think that would require removing the shaft and some kind of bead or sand blasting.

    Yeah I did the same to mine this last week. Turned out pretty good. The Tour issued do look to have a bead blasted finish on them but from what I understand they are being brushed by the Tour Techs to get the satin finish. Titleist Tour Reps please chime in here.
