graphite vs steel shaft

  1. with todays technology, are there any graphite iron shafts hat play the same as steel but give you a softer feel for playability? I was thnking of adding fujikura 115i graphite shafts to my Ap2's and want to know if anyone thinks this is a bad idea....any help would be appreciated

    The only shaft that we carry that is close to a lightweight steel is the NV 105 by Aldila and that is the commercial version of the graphite shaft that Rich Beem used to use.

    Tim if you like the weight of steel I don't think you will find a graphite shaft you will like, of course after getting used to the graphite you may not want steel.

    Sensicore does wonders. I put sensicore in my dynamic gold with 962 heads(cast) and it did great. I bought 990b(also cast) with rifle shafts and don't see a need for sensicore. So maybe rifles are the answer.

    I don't remember which grip company it is, but one makes a sting free grip, I don't know if it is any good or not.
