I understand that the swing weights are primarily for fine tuning the club to a particular feel that the player wants.  But, I believe I also saw on your website that when you buy, for instance, a 910f with a different shaft, it is supposed to come with another weight that is recommended for use with that particular shaft.  I believe the purpose of this was to keep the club within the ideal swing weight that Titleist recommends.  When my father bought his 910f, it came with a 12g weight in addition to the standard weight that comes in the head.  But when I bought my 910D2 w/ the Project X-7C3 shaft, and my 15 degree 910f w/ the Project X-8C4 shaft, I received no alternative weights, just the standard weight w/ the red dot (I believe 7g).  Is this correct or should I have received an additional weight?  Also, is there a chart/graph anywhere showing what weight is recommended by Titleist for specific shafts?

    Thanks for your input.

When you purchase a golf club, it only comes with the weight in the head.  If you purchase an additional shaft only, the new shaft will come with a surefit adapter and a weight to make sure the new shaft will swingweight correctly in your club.
