    Hi there

Is it necessary to get fit for wedges?

I am going to get a 60 degree Vokey lob wedge soon, but is bounce not the only consideration?

    Thanks, Benjamin, Northern Ireland.

Technically the 60.07 works great for both sliders and diggers, but I seriously recommend a fitting for wedges that includes bounce preference, loft preference and yardage gapping.

To add to that, lie, length, shaft and grip size are very important as well. Grip sie is more important in wedges because of the many different positions you put you hands on your wedges for different shots. A lot of people prefer an extra wrap or 2 under the bottom hand so when you grip down it doesn't feel too thin.

Thanks RC. I am more of a slider. There are no places near me that fit wedges. Thanks, Benjamin.
