wedge shaft

    I had the same shaft that I have in my irons, Project X 5.0, put in my wedges. I like the feel, but seem to have lost some distance. I was wondering if re-shafting with maybe a 5.5 or 6.0 would allow me to keep the feel, but add some distance? Thanks

    the stiffer the shaft the shorter the distance
    it won't get the distance that u are hoping for

    Definitely check the lies and lofts of the wedges, and might as well check the set!  Could be that those wedges bumped up a degree or two.

    Thanks, I haven't had them a year. they are Vokey's ordered from Titleist. Same with the AP2's, but they seem to be just fine distance wise.
