What is the best way to keep the appearance of the Driver neat?
Water and a golf towel?

After every round I wash all my clubs with hot soapy water and a soft scrub brush to remove all dirt, and tee marks from my woods. I then rinse them in hot water (leaves no spots) then once a month I use meguires auto polish and wax with meguires gold class auto wax. This method keeps them looking brand new for years.

I don't go to that extent but I do wash my clubs with soap and water along with a soft scrub brush after every round. I am very religious about doing this. It pays off in the long run.

I'd say just keep it simple. You don't need to do a lot too keep your clubs, especially drivers, in good shape. After every few rounds you could wipe it down with a damp microfiber to keep it looking clean. You don't have to use soap, but you can if you want.
My main recommendation is to keep the headcover on your club whenever you're not using it. I fell into the habit of leaving the headcover in the basket in the back of the golf cart while I played and it came back to bite me. I now have a couple of big scratches in the finish of my driver because I hit a bump and the club smashed into my alignment sticks... So... Damp towel and headcover and your club will look brand new for a long time. ;)
