Does anyone know what the DG Wedge flex is roughly equal to? Is it an x-stiff or more?
  2. I was told by tech support that it is equal to S300

  3. The DG Wedge fllex is the DG S200 shaft which basically means it is a a stiff shaft which is slightly lighter than the S300.

Am not sure if Vokeys are parallel or tapered.

In 2011 Vokey wedges the wedge flex is dynamic gold S200. In previous years anything 54* and weaker were DG S200 and everything 52* and stronger were DG S300 This can change from company to company depending on what they like to use, but know that Vokey used the real deal Dynamic Gold Shafts in his wedges unlike the other big wedge manufacturer who is now using cheaper shafts just to make the MSRP slightly less than Vokey wedges. If you want an X100 in your wedges it is a standard custom order and there is no up charge to it, however most people like to play a slightly softer shaft in their wedges compared to their irons because you are normally not taking full swings with the wedges and it gives a little more spin and feel.

It's actually softer...usually an s200...I'd say between a regular and stiff.

I purchaced a Vokey SM 52-08 about a year ago that never quite felt right. I took it to my clubmaker, and upon checking it out it spec'd out to an x100. I replaced the shaft. He told me that sometimes they will get heads that are a little heavier or lighter than usual ,and to swingweight them they will pick a heavier or lighter shaft to fit specs. He said he has seen it before, more with TM than anyone. Said he has pulled everything from an x100 to an A/R dynalite from TM wedges in the past.
