I've played the same 980CBs for last 8-10 years thinking about moving on. Thoughts about AP1s or AP2s?

what is your handicap? That will answer your question . 6 and under ap 2's. I'm at an 11-12 have ap1's great clubs but from what my buddies who are on the lower end of the scoring game tell me the ap2 is a great addition. Go try both!

Hey Gregg, I just bought the AP2s. It is by far the nicest feeling iron I've hit. I was playing more of a game improvement iron from a different company and was a little hesitant to go with more of a players club. I made the right choice, these clubs are more forgiving yet very playable. I would go hit both, but pretty sure you will like the forged feel of the AP2.

Don't be afraid of the AP2's if your a decent ballstriker. (My hc is 11 for shortgame and putting reasons) i'm not a great ballstriker but I can make good contact most of the time and I have found the AP2's to be the best irons I have played so far( my last set was the titleist 775) They are very forgiving. I love em!!!!

You should definitely hit both, it was easy figure out what was more comfortable pretty quickly. Judging from your handicap, and the clubs you play now, I would be surprised if you picked the AP1's. I would also give the CB's a try as well, may feel more like your current stick.
