Considering the U505 as a driving iron the wanted to know if anyone has used the new T350 for the same. See that Cam young has it in the bag.

Consider this. The U505 driving irons come in 16, 18, 20, 22 degrees. The T350 which are the most forgiving forged irons is offered in a 4 iron at 20 degrees. You could order a custom T350 bent 2 degrees strong to a 18 degrees. That would make a very nice driving iron that would offer great control. Might talk to a fitter and see what he thinks. At one of our TTI events, one of Titleist Brand Ambassadors, Joe Highsmith, was doing a demonstration for us and hit one of the T350 four irons very accurately and with great distance. He was very impressed.

Thanks, heading for a Titleist fitting again this weekend. T100s are bent 2 degrees week so the T350 4 Iron might be about right for gapping at 20 degrees.

Being of an entirely different construction, the distance achieved based on loft does not translate directly. Fit for gap and not degrees of loft.

The T350 will likely launch higher than a U series or even the T250 driving iron. Be sure to try all three.
