    Good Morning everyone,

I am currently playing the cally X-Forged but I feel like I'm just missing something in them. I've been playing around with the new T-series irons at my local store and LOVE the feel of them, I'm currently testing ZXi7 vs T100 and am stuck deciding between the two. I also tested the T150 vs T100 on a Trackman yesterday and had much better dispersion with the T100 7 iron, which is to be expected, but weirdly better numbers with the T100 5 iron than the T150. So I guess my question is what have been y'alls experiences with the T100? In your fitting did you have better results with the technically more difficult iron?

T100s have been awesome. Recommend being fitted by a Titleist fitter as they will be able to dial your loft and lie in with their new quick adjust system and trackman launch data. Will also offset the fitting price if you buy the clubs. Also recommend letting the fitter select the iron variant without prior expectations.

Not knowing your game or your swing, I would never the less think the T250 or especially the T350 would better suit a typical golfer with an 18 handicap. I find these to be great irons but do not have the game to play an iron with a 1 following the T. Just my 2 cents worth from a 14 GHIN.

I went into a fitting thinking I was a full T250 guy, but the data put me into T150 everywhere else, with the exception of my 4-iron, which stayed T250. On paper, the T150 is “meant” for a much lower handicap than I am, but the numbers didn’t lie.

That’s why I always suggest a proper fitting if you’re spending this kind of money. I also ended up in an X-stiff shaft, which I never would’ve picked for myself, but once we looked at dispersion, spin, and gapping, it was the clear winner.

The biggest takeaway for me was that what works on paper really doesn’t really matter. Handicap ranges, forgiveness labels, and shaft flex charts are just guidelines — sometimes it simply comes down to you as a golfer and how you deliver the club.

These are also my first set of Titleist irons, and honestly I wish I’d made the jump five years ago.
  6. I was the other way around. Thought I was 100% going with the T250's but the fitting showed in the 5-7 irons the T350 fitted my needs best. Just shows the true benefit of a fitting with someone that clearly know their business (Thanks Andrew at St Ives)
