people are mesmerized by the white club.  what a gimmick!!

but it sells, and is somewhat attractive.  i would personally buy a royal blue,

purple, orange, red - driver.  not that i think it would perform better, but i am

    into a colorful collection.

    thanks!!

Not me keep it Solid black like you did with the 910. I dont need a bright orange driver. White was cool for a min. but i think it will pass. TM cant keep a club on the shelf more than 6months before trying to make a new version of the same thing. The R7 ran for how many years 4 or so the R9 made it two. and they made 6 versions over that span. R11 i wonder what they will make by july. I stick with Titleist new clubs every two years shows conficence in a product and quality in design.

Then go buy a white driver and go paint it the color you want.

There is no market for NASCAR looking clubs, and I don't think Titleist is into moving away from the classic look they've built up for years.

thanks for reponse guys, im titleist driver to putter, bag, 6 pairs of icons, glove, all titleist

weather gear, etc.  im also a 6 who hits like a plus 2 (300+ yard drives, 200 6iron, 150 wedge).

i have 2 sets of irons - 681 and 2010mb's.  i love titleist, and think they are the best, no close

2nd.  i also like traditional look.  would i hit colorful woods?  yes!!  do i think there is a market for it, yes!!

why not compromise and have traditional and contemporary.  i wouldnt trade in my irons.  but i would

upgrade my 909 d3/ 3wood/ hybrid for some color. is it a fad?  maybe.

but look at the golf world today.  tons of color!!

not trying to upset anyone.  but i wouldnt mind some color................

Scotty Cameron headcovers and accessories offer a rainbow of colors and are very popular.  I saw a guy at the club yesterday with a rainbow, almost rasta looking Scotty carry bag.  I'm glad my son wasn't there or he would have been trying to buy it off of him.

But I'm not sure that is it time to paint your driver yet.  Now off brand and walmart drivers have tried every gimmick to sell clubs for years including different colors.  Still, they are in a different class.

The white drivers are selling partly because of huge advertising bucks spent on the program.  it helps that they are easy to identify on TV.

This weekend I noticed one of the guys who had one of the first white drivers teeing off.  He's had it a few months and plays several times/week, but it is starting to look pretty dirty--like a while hat after you wear it a while.

I repaint (fill) the numbers, the logos, and even the big Red X on my son's clubs to purple, blue, green and all colors of the rainbow.  He seems to be happy with that.
