Is it a good idea to clean my woods with a ceramic detailed.

If you have deep scratches you want to remove, I have heard this works pretty well. I would stay away from the face as any foreign material remaining on the face could affect ball flight. For me, just dish soap and warm water.

I have always used water and a towel with good results.

I use the same damp cloth on all my clubs. May include a couple of drops of dish soap in a pail of water to dampen/rinse the cloth. Careful with club washers at courses to not submerge the entire head.

Do not use any cleaning agent with an abrasive in it or an unknown solvent. Dawn dish soap and water is what I typically use. Also helps with grips.

My thinking was just like applying a wax to your car. Would be smoother more aerodynamic., maybe faster clubhead speed. Definitely not on the face, more on the crown and sole of the club.
