I was recently given a gift of a Scotty Cameron Studio Style Newport 2 putter. I played with it in the rain and most of bag got wet along with my clubs.  After drying everything, I noticed my grip to my putter got hard. The grip is black leather style. How do I restore the newness and tacky feel of it

    Thanks

    Hi Jesse,

You could try to use some Saddle Soap.  Just use a little bit and rub it into the grip.  It conditions leather and cleans it.  If it doesn't work, they sell a red leather grip as well as other grips at www.scottycameron.com.  Good luck.

Saddle soap will help moisturize the grip back to normal.  You might head to the locker room shoe guy first if you know someone at a private club.
