Are there any plans, to give us the option to buy the tips separate? Or has that already been done?

I'd like to have the option to buy another tip to shaft up, and be able to swap out in my 910's....

Or is Titleist standing their ground on no authorized tips to be released or sold? I'd like to have the ability to have several shafts like I do for my R9's.

  2. Hi Sean,

The SureFit Tour hosel is not available for individual sale.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  You can certainly order any of the approved shafts from our custom matrix (http://www.titleist.com/golf-clubs/shafts/default.aspx?tab=1) from an authorized Titleist dealer.

What is Titleist doing about all the fake tips on Ebay?  I purchased one of these tips and found it to be a fake that did not adjust properly.  The people selling these tips claim that they are Titleist tips.  I would think that you have some type of copyright on these tips and could shut down these Ebay auctions before more people get scammed.

    Titleist,

Any comment on the 910 tips on ebay that say they are genuine Titleist?

    Hi John and Stephen,

As you can imagine, protecting the Titleist brand from counterfeiters is something we take very seriously and our brand protection team vigorously protects our intellectual property.  Lately there has been an increase of counterfeit golf products making their way into the marketplace. While we have a program to aggressively pursue those who engage in these practices, some counterfeit product finds its way into the marketplace, especially via the internet.

To that end, to ensure that you purchase authentic Titleist product, always buy from an authorized Titleist retailer. Our products are primarily sold at golf courses, off course golf specialty shops and certain sporting goods stores.  When you make purchases in these unauthorized locations, there is a much greater chance that the products offered are counterfeit.

As for the SureFit Tour hosel, we do not sell this component separately and there are currently no plans to do so in the future.

If you would like more information on how to spot counterfeit products and how to report them, please follow this link: http://www.titleist.com/customerservice/counterfeit.asp.

Also, if you have any information on the eBay seller that you can share with us, we would like to investigate this matter further. Feel free to send me a direct message or email me at teamtitleist@acushnetgolf.com.

I hope this helps address your question and thank you for your continued support.

  6. Good reply and I fully understand.  However, I unloaded $600 for a Fubuki Alpha 909D2 last year and would like to make the switch to the D10 with my shaft.  If I have to pay that kind of coin again to get the 910, well, I just wont do it.  I guess I am stuck being a 909 player for a while.
