Im looking to get a new putter. The one i have is to light, so its hard for me to make a smooth stroke. I don't have a real good idea on what to get though. Any suggestions?

I would go and roll a few Scotty Cameron putters. They come with different weights based on the length. 33"/360g, 34"/350g, 35"/340g. You can also send the adjustable weight putters (Studio Selects, etc.) into the Cameron custom shop to get different weights.

What kind of putter are you currently using? Blade or mallet style?
I've really struggled with my putting game this year and have been through four putters, which means I've tested probably 25 or so. I started off the year with a 35" Scotty Pro Platinum Newport 2, but finally settled in with a TM Corza Ghost 34" (sorry Titleist). I also played a TM Daytona 6 for most of the year, but eventually switched to the Corza Ghost as it gave me more consistent results.
It was amazing how much a difference it made moving from a 35" to a 34", so I would recommend to check your fittings before buying a new one. I really wanted to check our the Scotty Kombi, but they never seemed to have the exact length I wanted on display.
I did go through an Aussie Mallet this year, which definitely felt heavy in the head. You may want to look at that one if you're looking for a heavier putter. I'm not sure of the exact specs, but it did feel heavier to me.
Good luck.

well you have all kinds of choices w/ the Scotty Cameron's but if you want a heavier putter I would go w/ the 33" the weights are heavier...and you can also send your putter to Custom shop to get 25g weights put in. Personally I like the Cali del mar, studio newport 2 and Kombi S is a nice one too.
A lil lead tape will work too

When I replaced a putter grip a few years ago, I put some BBs down the shaft. Worked for me.

Deno - How do those BBs sound?
I would probably stick with lead tape on the sole - if you can't get the adjustable weights.

I am a fan of the face balanced putters. I have always strived to putt straight back, straight thru. Many others are open, square, closed putters who put in more of an arc around their center of gravity. have someone look at your stroke if you don't know and then buy the right putter.
As I get older, I appreciate an alignment device to help line up the putts. The Kombi S is just a studio 2.7 (the putter I used before) with an alignment device built on the back of it. Helps in alignment and adds MOI to help keep the putter pointed where it started.
