Is there a shaft that fits better for AP2 710?

    I am in the process of buying a new set of AP2 710's and am curious as to what shaft works the best for this design.  I have played PX 6.5, and KBs X in previous iron sets but am thinking of the old tried and true DG X100.  Thoughts?  I play V1x ball.

    All those shafts work great.  The one that will work best for you can not be decided on opinions.  If you are investing in a new set of irons than go and give them a test drive at a local Titleist fitter.  You need to see the difference side by side between all those shafts to make an honest decision.

    Thanks Joe!  I had just always heard that the DG fits better with the AP2 head.... but that being said, would you think it wise to spine/pure the shafts?  I had someone tell me today that you don't spine steel, but I have heard that tour players do.  Do you have any advice?
