Because I lose a lot of distance(mostly with driver) during the cooler temps, I decided to go for a 907D1 10.5*  R flex. This should give me a little higher trajectory and more backspin, and hopefully limit my distance loss.

For much the same reasons, I got a 906f4 15.5* to replace my 906f2 13* during the cooler temps, never know, I might decide to leave it in the bag. The 13 is a great club off the tee, but I can't hit a draw off the ground, the added loft should fix that problem. Plus next year I'm moving to the back, I doubt I'll be using 3 wood off the tee.

Now all I need is for this winter to turn back to normal, we've already got more snow than normal for the whole winter.

For next season I got a 907D2 9.5* S flex, with the added loft I should be able to hit a better draw with driver.

It's been over a month since a swung a club, hope I remember how.

Like riding a bike.  Sounds like you made some good choices.

     Good Luck.

I'll find out when the weather allows.

According to weather.com my hopes may be coming true, if we get the predicted rain between now and Friday, I might be playing golf Friday(53* sunny), my wife will be happy.

Yesterday I got out to play, temps started 48*, almost 60* after finishing. It was great, the snow was all gone(except 1 grn), the course wasn't a mud pit. Actually the course was in great shape, very few spots of standing water.

The 907D1 10.5* w/R flex and older version of ProV1x(no I'm not using new ProV1's during the winter after not hitting a ball for over a month), works great as a cool weather driver. I was hitting the ball almost as far as summer w/983K  using ProV1.

Only bad thing about the 907D1, it has the worst sound I've ever heard. I hit center low every swing, but got good results. And I found I can swing up better with this club than I can the 983K. I've got high expectations for the 907D2 around March.

I played with 2 others, 1 first year player uses another brand's driver(don't know which version) the other uses 909D3 9.5* stiff. The first hit mine straighter and longer than his driver, the other hit it longer and straight but not in the right direction, he pushed it every swing.

The 906F4 15.5 beats my 906F2 13* at least for cold weather, I hit  a second shot on par 5 about 245 to center of grn and went over the trees, a shot I couldn't do with the 13*, I came up a ft short of the grn.

I was amazed at my full swing after not hitting a ball for a month, my grip didn't feel just right and I didn't come to a complete follow-thru, but hitting the ball very well. Short game was better than I expected. Putting, well its putting, wasn't too good, I'm blaming it on the greens.

Of course we were playing LCP, shot 82, +7 on the front, +3 on the back, 3 doubles, from the middle tees. I'm happy.
