i recently hit the new 910 and loved it. i am getting fit for christmas. does anyone know the diference between the RIP shaft and the kall'il shaft. i hit the kall'il but they didnt have the RIP. also What shaft do you play and why?

I hit them both and others when I was fitted. The kali'i was my first choice and the Rip was my second. The kali'i just felt smoother. The RIP a little stiffer in the tip. Both are excellent choices in my opinion. --Jerry

The RIP is a lower torque shaft and does have a stiffer tip. It will also produce a lower launch angle and spin rate than the Kai'li. I have a swing speed of around 110 - 112 mph and found the RIP to a better fitting shaft for me. In fact I just ordered the 910 D3 with the RIP 70g stiff shaft and hope to have it by next Wednesday. Both shafts are outstanding, it just comes down to which one fits you the best.

I have the 910 D2 9.5 with the Rip 60 Stiff. It was a lot better shaft for me due to the low torque. Not as much spin. I increased my loft and have a C4 setting due to the lower launch angle. I really liked this shaft the best. My swing speed is right at 105.
