    Ok Team,

I am just chomping at the bit to buy the new 910 but am absolutely lost with the plethera of shafts available. I am about 6'4 230 lbs with a swing speed about 110. I am pretty straight off the tee and I am looking for a lower boring flight to maximize my distance. I know the next stop is to the fitting room, but give me some ideas on what the different shafts do so i am not a blithering idiot when i get there. I currently swing the 909D3 (I still can't get myself to swing a volkswagen yet) and am driving about 260-280. Not bad for an old guy of 53.

    Your products are phenomenal.

    Mike C-

If you want to lower your ball flight there are several options when considering the new 910 Drivers.  The Ahina and the Project X shafts are high kick point shafts that will lower your ball flight.  So the 910 D3 driver with either the Ahina or Project X graphite will most likely be your dest option.  The Ahina X Stiff is compatible to the Project X 7C3 as far as launch angle and spin is concerned.  Hoepfully this info will not make you looklike an idiot but I would suggest finding a Titleist demo cart and hit the diffrent shafts outside not indoors at a Golfsmith, etc...

    Good luck!

Definitely get the Aldila RIP shaft probably the 60g stiff shaft but maybe the xtra stiff if you feel comfortable swinging that stiff of a shaft. Its all about feel. The RIP shaft in my opinion is the best shaft out there. If you buy it separate its $300 but Titleist is offering it for no extra charge which is a great deal. I have the 910D2 with the 60g RIP stiff and I added an extra 15 yards on my drives

  4. My best advice would be to get the aldila rip shaft in a X stiff, if your swing speed is really 110 mph. If its a little lower, get the stiff, depending on if you want distance or accuracy. Get a d3 if you want more precision, i think it looks better, too.
