if you change the grip then want to change to a different loft or lie the marking on the grip would not line up with club head

Yea, Titleist should have informed everyone that changing the loft/lie will change the placement of the grip.

If you like the stock tour velvet grip, they now have a version that has no visible markings to fit the needs of adjustable drivers. That way when you adjust you don't have the problem. Now the shaft graphics is another story.

ALL manufacturers, not just Titleist, have kept this "secret" from we consumers. No disclosure before purchasing that I am aware of.

I would advise looking into the Tour Velvet 360 grips. These are usually what Titleist puts on the 910 series by default. The 360 is designed for adjustable clubs as it has no markings or ribs. You can take a look at it here:

Unfortunately, I don't think Golf Pride has made a 360 New Decade grip as of yet, but the Tour Velvet 360 is just the go choice for Titliest on the adjustable clubs.
