  1. Saw an Instagram post showing Spieth testing new irons. Any gossip on what we are about to see?

  2. Rumor re that post is about T100. Hollow head, and some other cool stuff. Again, only a rumor. Hoping they'll have a new T100, T100s and T200 to drool over soon. Gonna need new irons around New Year's...

Having played the T200s now for a year and a half, I am ready to move back to more of a T100/T100S type of blade. Nothing major wrong with the T200s, but I miss the feel and accuracy I had with my AP2s. I do like the extra distance I get from the stronger-lofted T200s though.

So, hopefully, the new iron offerings will include a new version of the T100S or something completely new in a players-distance iron. So, surprise me, Titleist. But not like last time when I hit both the T100 and T200 in my fitting with good results, but opted for the extra distance of the T200, having no idea that Titleist was going to be releasing a T100S distance model only a few months down the road. Boy, was I surprised when they were announced....and a bit perturbed I didn't know 'til after my T200s were already in my bag and paid for.
  4. Doug,
I agree about the release road map. I think Titleist did their customers a real disservice when they released the TS2 and TS3 drivers only to announce a couple of months later the TS1 and 4. Then following the same formula with the T100 irons the next year releasing the T100s irons a few months later. With that said I believe we should expect the same thing with this year's iron release, because they did the same with the TSi1 and 4 metals coming out a few months after the TSi2 and 3. At least this time many people knew to expect it. I still think it hurts their customers who may not keep track of their unusual releases.

Doug, I can’t say for sure but don’t be surprised if the T100 is released first and the T100s a bit later like before or based on T100s sales, maybe they stick with just the three models. I do not have any intel, just a guess as the T100s was a special add last time.

I definitely plan on a new set of irons, but am going to wait for this very reason. Dont want to buy something just to see a new set a few months later that mightve been better suited to me. So Im probably going to hold off until next year when the new Vokey wedges come out (assuming they hold to their two year release schedule as well)

The next release should occur this fall. Especially coming out of the worldwide production issues there may not be a full line release this fall. Titleist currently supports 8 lines of irons when including the Cncpt version. The T100s an T400 were later releases and some of the 7 620/T lines may be released over time. There are still orders taking 3 months to be fulfilled.

I wonder if Titleist would stop taking orders for any of the current lines if expected fulfillment would be after the next release was due?

A set of 622 MB's, in chrome, would fit nicely in my bag.

Its about that time of year! Im sure the titleist men & women in the lab found a way to make what they had previously better. Cant wait to see what they came up with

Traditionally, new irons for public normally release around August/September....

I am hearing August/September from my pro. Can't wait.
  17. I am scheduled for a full bag fitting at the Manchester Lane facility in September. I’ve talked with a couple of personnel there and no one would confirm that the new release is happening but they wanted to schedule me accordingly to take advantage of the release ‘if and when’ it occurs. I am really pumped for this experience!!!
  18. I am scheduled for a full bag fitting at the Manchester Lane facility in September. I've had some email traffic with the Titleist folks and asked about the new T-series irons release date. They couldn't 100% confirm a date but did tell me late August/early September. Andy answered all of my questions promptly and was very helpful in scheduling my fitting accordingly as to insure my access to the new release. Real nice crew up there and I'm sure looking forward to the experience as well as how they improve on the current superior product.
