Thanks for being a Titleist supporter!  We have a two year cycle for Titleist clubs and brought out the 710 family of irons in November 2009 so it will be the end of 2011 before we launch new Titleist irons. It takes time to develop products that are not only newer, but better than the previous generation.  The first step in the development stage is R & D looking at designs, shapes, soles and getting feedback from Tour players to see what can be improved.  The second is sending the prototypes on Tour and in consumer testing.  We like to get validation on Tour and in the field to see what all our players have to say about the look, feel, and performance.  After we are satisfied that it is a better product, we bring it out in the line.  It's about a 2 year process all together.

Any chances of offering different finishes in a forged cavity back?  (  satin or gun metal ect....  )

so as of now do they know if the next set of irons is going to be similair to the style of the AP2 that i currently play and love?

R & D probably has a good idea of what they are looking for in performance and feel, but we (Team Titleist)  will not see anything until next year sometime.
