The del mar is a very solid putter, have made more putts with this model than any of my others (NP buttonback, circa 62 no. 1 and 7, faxon laguna, red x), but it all comes down to your stroke.  IMO the del mar looks cleaner and I get a crisper feeling off the face.  The del mar seems to just track better during the stroke to me, like the putter swings itself on line.  Hope this helps.
