I have right now the 909D2 with the VooDoo Stiff flex shaft at 9.5 degrees.  I'm hitting it very well off the tee, averaging around 290 off the tee.  I have a penetrating ball flight with a slight bit of draw.  What benefit would I see going to the new 910 when it releases.  Asides from it being a phenomenal driver will I see any big changes?

Better players sometimes miss the center of the club high towards the toe or low towards the heel.  On off center hits, there is very little loss of speed on the new 910 drivers.  You will also be able to dial in your optimal launch and spin due to the adjustability factor of the lie and loft/face angle.

    Kathy,

What is the release date for the new 910 driver series?  Will there be a new series for the MB710's this year?

The release date for the 910 drivers will be November 15th.  Stay tuned.  More info will be coming soon.

This is our general schedule of releases.  We release our new products every two years alternating irons and woods, so last November, 2009 we released our 710 series of irons and we will not be scheduled to release a new iron until the end of 2011.  We released our 909 drivers at the end of 2008 and this November we will have the 910's.  It takes time to do proper research and development to bring out a club that is better than the previous generation.  We also spend time talking with our our tour players, talking to our players (people like you), using their input and having the tour validate the club by putting it into play.  Then we bring it into production.

  5. will there be a Comp version as with the 909s and if so is the release date the 15/11 also ?

There will be two destinctive versions of the 910.  A D2 and a D3 which will launch slightly lower and spin a little less.  There will not be a comp version.

What will the 910's retail at?  Will demos be sent to local titleist clubhouses?

I just bought a mixed set of 3-4 710 CB's and 5-P 710 MB custom built by Titleist.  I do not think they can make a better playing and looking iron!  I do miss the more aggresive grooves from the prior groove era.  But I have been able to hold the greens just fine (but it has been pretty wet in the Twin Cities in the past few weeks).

I would say you should give the 910 a test run and compare it with your 909 and see if you need it or not. It looks like its going to be a great driver its got some plus points comparing it to the 909 and all the tour players seem to love it. I have heard its going to be revolutionary not sure about that but if your are a fan of Titleist clubs sure its one to check out.

  10. I agree. Just wait until the 910's are released and compare your 909 to it/them. You'll never know until you try! Best wishes!
