Now that golfers have had ample time to hit and experience the full lineup of TS drivers, we'd love to hear everyone's thoughts. Let us know your preference of TS1, TS2, TS3, or TS4, why you switched, and what it's done for your game.

I personally put a TS3 in play about 4 months ago and have never hit more fairways. I have a high swing speed which is great, but also brings a lot of trouble into play. I used to completely ignore fairways and aim for the biggest playable landing area on a hole just to keep it in play. I know that sounds pretty absurd but I'd rather hit out of a fairway bunker than take a drop. Since switching to TS3, I can now focus on trying to actually hit the fairway. Easily my biggest game improvement since adopting a full bag of Titleist sticks.

What has been your TS driver experience?

At first hesitation on replacing my current driver (was the 915 D3). Then, after much research and because I prefer a low spin driver, I opted for the TS4. On the range alone so far I have found that I am constantly making contact with the sweet-spot, hitting this driver extremely long, and can still work a draw and fade when required. I believe, based on the advertising for this driver and for whom the driver is targeted, many golfers might avoid the TS4. This is unfortunate because, although I don't fit the "mold", I am hitting this driver better than all previous models I have used. This might prove the same for others avoiding the TS4. At 57 years old, I am quite content with an average 275 carry. I am playing in Temecula, CA. tomorrow and intend on clearing several fairway bunkers where I previously chose to lay-up.

    Thanks Titleist!

I am able to hit the ball much farther with my TS2.

I was fit today for the TS2 and it gave me an extra ten yards of carry.

Is it the ball or the club? The driver releases coincide with the ball releases, and I have recovered and gained some distance from the 913 to the 917 to the TS-2 and now TS-1. I only had a small gain with the TS-1 over the TS-2, but it feels more comfortable to swing. As I come up on 70, new distance isn't the goal. But no drop-off from 5 years ago is a gain.

I bought the TS1 since I'm nearing 70 also and loved it but foolishly traded it for a TS2 and lost about 15 yards so I'm now looking for another TS1 I can trade for.

I’m loving my TS3. I’m hitting it longer and straighter than any driver I’ve ever used.

I have always hit a high ball with too much spin. I experimented with different swing angles etc., but I love my angle of attack for attacking the green. I did not want to have two different swings, one for attack and one for the driver. I tried the TS2 and TS3 but still had some issues. Once the TS4 came out, I went to a fitting. Its the perfect driver for me; it lowered my flight slightly, and lowered my spin. I love the smaller head profile too. I tried other drivers from other golf companies that "lower spin," but the TS4 felt better, sounded better, and looked better. As usual, Titleist outperforms without being obnoxious in your face marketing.

I had a Titleist Club Fitting in August and I was fitted for the TS4, however, I haven't pulled the trigger. I will turn 77 next season and am not convinced it will make a significant improvement over my 915 D2. When Spring arrives I will probably feel different, but, for now I am on hold.

I switched from the 915 to the TS2 about a year ago now. It has been my favorite driver ive ever had in the bag. Its super forgiving and gives me a great result even on mis-hits. I loved the whole fitting process of the TS2 and to put it against my old driver and see the obvious advantages made it an easy decision to put it in the bag!

I went into my local golf shop to test out the TM M6 and the Cobra driver. I walked out happily with the TS2 In my hands.

It’s been a fairway finding machine for me and I usually have a tendency to fade right. Sometimes way too far right. My club path is a couple degrees in-out and this thing has been consistently straight with a slight draw bias. It has to be the best sounding driver I’ve ever played and really had improved my ability to attack the fairway with confidence.

I have had my TS2 driver and 3 woods since December. The driver is the best I have had since my 915, and the 3 wood since my 913. Thanks Titleist.

I switched from a 915 D2 that I absolutely loved to a TS2, in search of more distance and the usual time to upgrade. It took a little bit to get the proper shaft and setup but once i found the right combination for me it was unbelievable how well this club performed. I was able to improve in almost every number on the monitors. Faster, Higher and straighter! Thats a great combination. This club worked amazing for me and I am very happy with it.

I said back in the Spring that I thought the Titleist TS2 was the best all around driver I'd hit. I thought it was the most forgiving Titleist ever. I felt vindicated when it was a very close second to the png, which were always the most forgiving. I still feel the same that it's the best not only Titleist ever, but one of the best ever or any brand. Sorry to say that I won't be replacing it anytime soon.
  15. I went from a SLDR to a TS3 this spring. I'm not sure what distance gains I had in the switch, but my fairways hit went way up! I'm much more confident hitting it then ever before.
Where I really see the gain is in the mishits. When they do happen the ball travel much further than before.

I was fit just before launch for a TS3, I just liked the appearance and less offset than the TS2. I was coming from the 913D2, which I was fit for, but at a big box retailer and always felt like I had the wrong shaft.

I added about 10-15 yards consistently. At a 17 handicap, I still make some big misses, but I feel like a number of the misses aren't as bad and I get more consistent yardage from it as well.

I began the season with a TS2 and was hitting it just fine. Then when the TS1 was launched, I felt all the info about it being designed for moderate to slow swing speeds as aimed right at me, so I ordered one with the Fubuki 45G Senior shaft.

And boy did it work, I maintained the accuracy I had with the TS2 but picked up 2 to 3 mph club speed and 6 to 7 mph ball speed, resulting in between 12 to 15 more yards.

I kept it in the bag all season, and had probably the best driving year of my life. It was a big factor in my handicap going from 21.3 at the beginning of the year to 14.9 on Nov 1st.

I put a new TS2 10.5 driver in the bag at the start of this season. During the fitting process I preferred the look of the TS3, but after an hour on the launch monitor comparing the two side by side, the numbers didn't lie.

The TS2 has increased my distance consistently by 5-10 yards, and on occasion, 20+ yards versus my previous 917D3 10.5. More importantly, my ball striking has improved with the TS2, and that confidence is priceless!

I switched from the 917 to the TS2 a few months ago and it’s taken a while to get used to it and just trust to not hold back and now I’m longer off the tee and finding way more fairways.
  20. I got mine earlier this year and after a shaft change it is the best driver I had. No real gain in distance but much more forgiving. Now purchased the 3 wood and hybrid to match.
  21. I switched to the TS3 and love it. Much more consistent. Much longer.

I made the switch from an Epic Sub zero into the TS3 at the beginning of the season. I was disappointed when 2 weeks after my purchase the new TS4 was released. I muddled through the year with the TS3 until I finally bit the bullet on a new TS4 at the end of September. Man I wish I hadn’t waited. I have been averaging 2 missed fairways a round since putting it in play and I am noticing some added roll out distance that I wasn’t getting with the TS3. Good luck prying the TS4 from my hands any time soon.
