    Hi All-- i currently am shopping for a hybrid.  I have an 18 degree with a R shaft (diamana).  I have hit the 909h 19degree with a S shaft (diamana).  I have to say that i did hit it well and liked the straightness i was getting.  I am just curious how much distance is lost from moving to a S shaft.  Swing speed is mid 90s.  My current hybrid feels a little whippy and at times strays off line.  Anyone that might have some shaft knowledge i would love to hear insight.  Thanks

    I wouldn't worry about losing distance... if you did lose any with the shaft change it would be minimal and the straighter more on target shot is a much better trade off!  If your swing speed is in the mid 90's then that stiff shaft should do you well and keep you from spraying it like the softer shaft. Accuracy over distance (in this case minimal if any) everyday my friend!

    thanks that makes my decision easier.  I went with a "S "NV shaft in a 15 and 19 degree 909H hybrid.  thanks for the insight.
