  1. Dear TT, the AP1 4 and 5 irons, which I have, are special hollow construction, lower CoG, and a bit different from the rest of the AP1 set. They are easier to hit, launch, and with greater forgiveness compared to traditional 4 and 5 irons. How do these AP1 clubs play, perform, feel against new U 500/510? Thanks

In general...the U-500/501 are great additions as options to the CB/MB irons. Definitely more of a player's driving iron that the more forgiving AP1 game improvement iron. The U irons won't be as forgiving but for higher speed players, they can be alternative to using a hybrid, especially if they are looking to flight down an 18 degree club.
  3. Thanks for reply. Nice and clear!

My information is the U510 Utility Iron launch it high and long. Hybrid like performance, larger more forgiving blade than U500. Looks like much more forgiving than T-MB 718. The stock Projekt X HZRDUS Smoke Black shaft is a perfect combination. I definitely will change my AP1 4 iron to this one. It will be a perfect addition to my AP2 irons.
  5. 816 hybrids still serving me well. Love the look of these new driving irons but think there out of my league

    If it ain't broke...
