Whats your favorite grips? I like the W6 Winn Excel. The softness seems to relax my hands more at address. They just don't have a lot of longevity....

  3. I have the Golf Pride Tour Wrap on all of my clubs, including the putter. I like the fact that if they get a little slick, all I have to do is splash a bit of water on them, rub them a bit, then dry them off and they are as tacky as new. This works nicely on the course if they get a bit slippery. Also, they are fairly inexpensive as far as grips go and while I don't play or practice as much as some of the T/T nation, I do hit the clubs three times a week and my grips are going on two years of use. Fairways and greens.

    Great topic!

For me, my grip is Lamkin Next Gen crossline ACE. Midsize, too! Love the way it feels

I like the white multi compound grips. I just got fitted by Mark Baumann from Titleist for Ap2 718 irons with Projecf X Lz 5.5, they look so sharp and sell my 716 ap2 that have the Nippon Modus3 120’s.

My problem is I would like to do the align white multi compound, but they are 5 ounces heavier than originals and if they decided not to make the aligns anymore, that would throw the swingweight off by a point from D2 to D1. And yes, I can feel the difference!! I love the reminder grip!!

Bax, at least someone can tell the difference in swing weight.... lol. My setup honestly is all about address. I have never had a proper fitting. I am okay with working the swing around the club I guess haha. That or I am just basic standard.

Because of the wear and that Titleist wouldn't add 4 wraps to the lower hand, I have moved to the MCC 4+ to make my life simpler.

I like a cord grip. The Lamkin UTX Cord and the Golf Pride Z-Cord are the 2 that I use.

Pure Pro grips are what I use on my irons and wedges. Golf Pride MCC+4 for the driver and 3 wood.

I've always played the golfpride Z cord. Living in Texas, we got some hot temps during the summer, better grip on the club and in rain as well. It's a very firm grip, I've got pretty coarse hands from playing them for so long, go through a lot of gloves if you practice daily.
  15. Golf Pride MCC Plus4 midsize. Absolutely love this grip!!
  16. I love Winn Dritacs, but I dont get a full season ou t of them. Ive switched to GP white Tourwraps and so far so good. I get them for $6 so the price is right.
  17. MCC +4’s for me - had Lamkin cords for the past year and just switched. Both great grips but like the align feel!

    MCC 4+.
Love the feel when they are new, but they do have a tendency to wear out quicker than I would like
  19. CP2's, Jumbo, just amazing grips, truly they have improved my game

I have been using Lamkin UTx midsize grips on my driver through PW for many years. I really like the tacky feel and the cord in them helps a lot on very humid/wet days.

Lamkin Crossline for me. I am switching from the Crossline Cords, easier on the hands.

Driver/fairway: Golf Pride New Decade MultiCompound Plus 4 (Standard) w/ 4 wraps
Irons/Wedges: Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip (Standard)
    Putter: Scotty Cameron Matador

I'm considering on my next set of grips or irons, whichever comes first going w/ 4 wraps on them as well. My hand size probably needs me to be much higher but I've always played standard grips so I'm on a very slow transition.

Lamkin Sonar Mid Size grips for me. Changed over from the UTx and staying with the Sonar. Best grip I have ever had on a club.
