After playing 845's for the last 15 years I recently purchased new clubs. In June after much research I purchased a set of the 2010 AP 1's with the Nippon shafts. Since then I have posted multiple rounds in the 70's and watched my handicap go from 12 to 8. These new irons and my Vokey wedges as well as my Scotty Cameron putter have been a winning combination. Anyone else out there playing these clubs with similar stories?

Well I got vokey wedges a couple of months ago and they have helped immensly. I ordered my set of AP-1s last week and they should be here this friday. I am hopeing they bring my score down as well. I am currently a 19 handicapper. Very excited to get these. I have been looking at a scotty cameron but didnt knwo if it was worth the money? In your experience is it worth it to get a scotty cameron?

Good Luck with your new clubs! I'm still getting used to mine especially the increased distance. As far as the Scotty Cameron being worth the money. I have had mine since 1996 and have not putted with anything else since then. I had it refurbished this year and it looks like new. i love the balance of the Cameron putters but my opinion is "whatever gets it in the hole"

    Play Well!!!

Putters are a very individual thing. Scotty Cameron makes some of the best putters out there. That being said you need to find a putter that not only looks great behind the ball but also gives you confidence to make a good stroke.

Go to a well stocked shop and try a few. Don't be afreid to ask your local PGA Pro for help finding a new putter.

    Good Luck!

PS: I only use Cameron putters and I can't see a reason to even look at another kind of putter.
