I have a set of 710AP2's in the garage that I no longer play that have the Steelfiber i95 stiff shafts. Is it unreasonable to have those shafts pulled and placed in a new set of 718AP 2's. Would Titleist even consider this or is it just time to spend the cash and start over.

I would recommend starting over. Your swing may have changed and the newer shaft options probably will give you better performance. Do a fitting, at least a Free Titleist Thursday. You may also get a few bucks by selling your used set as complete instead of piecing them out.

If you have your clubs (718 ap) modify outside Titleist, this will void your guarantee.
Also, I do not think that Titleist will install your used shafts on the new club.
The only solution is to start over.
But you could sell your older clubs if you do not use them.
