  1. Considering upgrading from the AP2 714 to the AP2 716 or something newer. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Unless you can't afford it, jump to 718's. You will get the benefits of the latest technology and they will be worth more later if you upgrade again. Best advise is to find a Titleist Thursday fitting event near you and make sure whichever model you get, it fits your swing and your game.

You may be surprised that your 714's are still good for you.
Make sure you get to a Titleist Thursday and they will look at all the options...going from 714 to 716 may not be a big enough jump to see any benefits...look to next year and save up for your next set.

The 2018 is the current available to order. Any 2016's are left over inventory from over a year ago. Buying off the rack for just 1 model newer is not a good value, even though discounted from the 2018 price. Dale's advice is solid,.

Find a Titleist Thursday by you so you can hit the new 718's. Getting the right shafts and heads will change everything and you will not be disappointed.

I think Dale correctly hit it on the screws.
  7. I would dish out the extra cash for 718. The 716 were a nice upgrade from 714 but the looks in 718 are a nice upgrade from 716 and the feedback is even better in 718 compared to what it was from 714 to 716.

If trying to save money 716 is a great ption

I would say definitely go for 718 or stick with 714... I have played every model of AP2 since they came out, and 2 years is not nearly enough to wear out these clubs (for me). That being said the 714 were great, the 716's weren't by any means bad, but the 718's are unreal. I am testing new AP's and the numbers I saw with the 718 AP2 stock AMT amazed me.
  9. I bought stock 716, got them bent, and they are by far the greatest irons I have ever used. Can't go wrong with a proper 718 fitting, however.

As above buddy, 718’s or stick with 714’s.
I was not overly impressed by my 716’s, I thought my old 714’s were better.

But the 718’s are just unbelievable!!
