917D2 swing weight

    Hello,

    I have a 917D2 with an Aldila Rogue Silver 60 (110msi) in Stiff flex at 45 inches. It has the stock neutral weight in the head and stock tour velvet 360. Would like to get a swing weight on it as I like the feel in my hands and am looking at the TS series. Also would like to know if the Hzrdus Smoke is counterbalanced similarly to the Rogue. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Michael, Your 917 with the Rogue Silver at 45" with a standard grip probably swingweights about D3. In a TS driver, at 45", we would build with a +2 weight at D2.

    We would build the HZRDUS Smoke at 45" in the TS driver with a +2 at D3.
    Not counterbalanced like the Rogue shaft.

    Thank you for the reply! I’m assuming you are talking about the HZRDUS Smoke 60 for the TS. What about the HZRDUS Smoke 70? I see the weight of the 70 is actually 68g which matches my Aldila Rogue. Curious what swing weight that would build to. Thanks!
