I've had a TS2 Driver in the bag for about a week and it amazing. I'd highly recommend attending a fitting as the results were outstanding for me. I picked up 4mph ball speed and 14 yards. It is great hitting one less club into greens on par 4's and my recent scores have reflected the gains.

  3. Did a fitting today and ordered a TS-2, immediately after. Picked up 9 mph on clubhead speed and 14 yds in carry distance. Dispersion was much improved over my current T-driver. Two weeks estimated for receiving new driver. Anxiously awaiting!!!!

Had my fitting today in San Jose. Love the feeling of both the driver and fairway. Got 10mph ball speed increase against my 917 D2. Ended up with the TS3 for both driver and fairway. On order and waiting. Hopefully Titleist gets mine done first....

Got my TS3's (Driver and Fairway) on Saturday. Played on Sunday with them and had my best driving round in a long time. Tight dispersion, great distance and a heck of a lot of fun. Didnt hit many 3 woods but it too felt fantastic. Getting fitted is an absolute must. Very excited about this new setup. Great release Titleist!

  6. Fitted yesterday for TS2 driver and fairways. Picked up 6mph swing speed and 27 yards distance over my current 917 driver and my accuracy improved dramatically! The TS2 is an awesome club, looks great and I like the straight top edge. A significant improvement over the 917 range. Driver and fairway ordered. Can't wait to get them in my bag!

    Hi

Could you please let us know if the 917 Driver CG weights will fit the TS3 Driver?
  8. Michelle Z

Yes they do, but for optimal performance the new weights designed for the TS3 Driver will work best.

TS & 917 driver and fairway weights are not interchangeable.

I was lucky enough to win a fitting for them yesterday at St Ives. Instantly liked the T3. I wasnt swinging at my best due to a stiff and slightly sore back but still gained 12 yards with less effort required and less strain on my body. Dan Friend the fitter was great and i certainly hit them much better after getting the right shaft, weight, loft. I certainly feel I could have hit them alot futher on a day when i was more loose and less back pain, but it was great to actually do it like this as I do suffer with my back alot and always have some niggling issue. +12 Yards on a stiff day for me was great!! I feel like I could drill these on a good day : ) Loved the looks of all the clubs, got on well with the Hybrids aswell. Classy looking Metals, no flashyness, just oozing quality and design. Colours were lovely. I kept wiping them after almost every hit, scared I was marking them up even though they were demo clubs lol Had a brilliant day trying them all and Thanks once again.

    T3, 9.5 Tensei Blue 55, Stiff, D3, standard draw. 818 H1, 19' Tensei Red 60, Stiff, A1, 12 gram neutral.
  11. I had my fitting Thursday at Pease Golf course at the Titleist Thursday free fitting. I ordered the TS 2 driver and metal. The fitting was a great experience narrowing in on loft and shafts. I can't wait for my clubs 2-3 weeks out.

I'll be really surprised if the new driver is better than my 917

but that's what I said about the 913

    and the 905

    and the 983

    and the PT.

    Can't wait!

As with everyone with a placard showing the range improvements, I increased ball speed/distance. Now, with TS2 in hand, it translated well on course. My driver speed hovers in the 82-85 range, and par 5s have not been easy for a GIR, let alone be my birdie holes. I was getting the distance from the range off the tee and with a 5W. I was left with PW or partial swings for GIRs on yesterday's par 5's. I was skeptical how this would compare to my 917. Jury came back unanimous - it is a keeper!
  15. I can't comment yet, but I'm really looking forward to my fitting in 2 days. I'm still rockin' the 915 and can't wait for the improvements developed over the last 4 years, especially with what I'm reading about the new TS line.
    Hit 'em straight!

Was able to do a fitting this past week. Likes the feel of both TS2 and TS 3 but ultimately TS 2 was more consistent. The really good thing is the TS2 was also consistently longer than my current gamer the M4! The driver was the only non Titleist club in the bag and with this release I am back to a full 14 club Titleist set up! The whole time I have had the M4 it has had a Titleist Us Open Headcover on it Lol! Now the waiting like a kid at Christmas for it to ship......

Just got my TS3 delivered yesterday, will find out tomorrow how it performs on the course. If the simulator is any indication, I just may be right behind my M3 driver distance.

It really looks like the TS is going to be a winner for MANY people. My 917 has served me well but I am very excited to get my TS2.

With my friends, I am consistently seeing increases in ball speed with the added carry and overall distance to match. More importantly, overall ball flight and dispersion is also excellent.

+ 4 mph ball speed, +13 yards carry distance
    TS2 10.5, Hzrdus Smoke 60 6.0, 44.75 inches, Blue +4 gram weight, Surefit D4 setting

  20. I picked up my 917D3 about six months ago and am getting about 10 more yards carry over my 915. It would be hard to pass up another 10 yards that some of the posts describe.
Are the 915,917 and TS shafts interchangeable?

Yes, they all use the surefit hosel so should be good to go! I love my 917D3 and have the GD DI6 shaft. Love that thing - but I’m curious how that shaft will perform in the TS... the anticipation is killing me.

I didn't go through a true fitting, but tried some different combos on GC2 at my local Roger Dunn. While I hit it really well there, no matter what combo I hit, I was not gaining ball speed anywhere, in fact it was down. BUT, distance was up. The gains some of you are getting are great, but I have to be honest, I am left scratching my head.

In any case, I ordered a TS3 based on the best numbers I could come up with on the GC2. I have had the club in hand for about a week and a half now and it is nothing like the demo I hit. Feel is not the same and it sounds worse. I am not sure what happened. I ordered it 3/4" short of the 45.5" standard, thats it. EF white, 6.0 65g. I was so stoked for this release to drop and now I am kind of bummed on it's outdoor performance so far. Dispersion was great on the monitor and outdoors, it doesn't translate either... It's odd. I hope to get it straightened out soon.

Nick, hopefully you get it straightened out soon. I always do multiple fittings and do them outdoors. I know my swing isn't very consistent so i want to hit multiple days to make sure the numbers work. I also want that visual and sound feedback you get in an open range versus the indoor cage. I think Roger Dunn has the 30 day guarantee. If it was me, i'd quickly return it until you can do an outdoor fitting by a certified Titleist guy. Then once you are sure you have it right, go back to Roger Dunn and get what you need. Driver is too important not to get it right. My thoughts anyway.

Had my fitting yesterday (Titleist Thursday at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar). First, Travis did a great job as usual. He got me in my 718 T-MB's last fall. We found that my current set up was pretty well matched for me so the transformation will not be as dramatic as it would be for someone with a poorly fitted driver. That said, I picked up 3 -5 mph, less spin, better launch angle, and more roll out. It should give me around 10 more yards without hurting my accuracy. Set up is: TS3 10.5 degrees Tensei AV Blue 55 Regular flex. I was going to wait on the order but they threw in a couple of free rounds at The Grand. It should be here in a week to 10 days.

Also had my fitting yesterday. Full bag with Pat at Henry Brunton in Irvine, CA. Pat was fantastic all afternoon. Very attentive to not only the needs of my swing but also my preferences of look and feel. I was a bit concerned we'd end up in some exotic driver shafts pretty quickly due to my swing speed (120 mph) but Pat was able to find a home for me with a TS2 and an Evenflow White 65g 6.5 flex tipped a full inch to increase stiffness. I won't quote my distance gains because my current driver is quite dated and would certainly skew the numbers, but everything about this new driver is better than I could have ever expected.

I got fit a few weeks ago for the new TS woods and ended-up ordering a TS3 driver and TS2 fairway, both with the ProjectX HZRDUS Smoke shaft. I’ve been able to play a few rounds with the clubs since I received them, and I am really enjoying them. Titleist did great with the look, sound and feel in these clubs. I picked-up some pretty good yardage and am hitting them much higher than my previous 915 driver and fairway. Thank you Titleist!
