    I'm currently gaming the 915 Hd 23* and think I need a 'gap-filler' between this club and my 915F 3-wood... does anyone have a thought on doing so with the 712U instead of another hybrid?

    Putting an iron between two metal clubs doesn't make much sense to me.
    I would rather buy a new Hybrid and then use a 712U/716T-MB instead of your 23* Hd

    Agreed with Chris, I think you should look at 915H 2, will be a nice split between your fairway wood and your HD.
