    Are the new SM6 wedges cast? And if they are why did Titleist make this move to cast wedges?

    The SM6 wedges are cast from soft 8620 carbon steel using our proprietary manufacturing process. This process allows us to design wedges with tour preferred feel, industry leading quality and the most complete wedge line up in the game.

    Adding on to what Andrew said, Vokey wedges have always been cast.
