    So just ordered the new 716 cb's, can't wait for then to arrive now I'm trying to finish the set by getting new vokeys. So is there really that big a difference with the new cg tech on the sm6, cause the irons put a damper on my wallet enough and I was thinking of just getting the sm5 wedges

    The sm5 wedges are still a great choice but anytime there is a new product our from Titleist or Mr. Vokey you can be sure that there is an advancement in the technology that is going to help your game. I think it is worth the money to get the sm6.

    I agree with Gabe the technology keeps advancing helping players to better there golf game and I need all the help I can get lol

    I had 48/52/56 SM5s, I've just replaced the 48/52 with the SM6 52. Even if you only got the SM6 in GW, it would be a better investment than just getting a set to match. So I now have an SM6, SM5, and a non-conforming Spin-Milled lob wedge. Won't win a beauty contest, but they work.

    Get the Sm6's they look and set up way nicer than the 5's. If you do get the Sm5's get the black ones as the chrome ones look very big, At least to me they do. I had TVD's in black oxide before the Sm5's and do not like the looks of the chrome Sm5's (shovels).

    The 6 feels a little softer around the greens, IMO......Not a significant difference. If your 5's are in the "slightly used" category, stick with them....It doesn't make sense to me to buy every new product that hits the stores.....IMO
