I am going to eventually buy one of the 915 fairways and 816 hybrids, anyone who has used them have any tips about which model would be good or just the main differences between them that you have noticed?

    Thanks!

Hey Glen... a little more background on your end would be needed, or the majority of all responses will be to "go get fit!" Are you looking to fill a gap in your current set? Are you looking to replace a current club? Are you looking for more work-ability or more forgiveness? But to be honest... these are just some of the questions any shop may ask you as well.

I'm playing a 915Fd 15* b/c based on my numbers, lower spin was a need. The larger head was not a requirement b/c I'd rather have more work-ability and not scared of the smaller head.

Go get fit! They'll be able to analyze your numbers, see where you're at vs. what you're looking for. They'll be able to tell you which shaft/surefit setting combination works best for you.

It really is an individual choice. The last iron I can hit well is 5 iron. Then have an H1 25 and a 915H 21 to fill those gaps. Finally, an 18 915F because I can't get enough elevation with a 15 fairway. That puts me on the other end of the scale from Robert L, but the good news is Titleist had something to fit both of us.
  4. My tip for the hybrid would be that you better use the h1 for a Swing type more like a wood and the h2 more like an Iron.
I personally prefer the h2 and replaced my png i 15 Hybrid at the beginning of this year and it developed as one of the best options from the Tee for me
Make the best choose for you.
Have a nice day and hopefully a lots of good rounds

    Huddersfield,

I play a 915f 3 wood, with Rogue stiff shaft. I also have it lofted it up and closed to be increase the loft even further as I've been struggling with off the turf. (Had a lesson recently to try and correct) A superb club off the tee on short par fours etc, and is nearly as long as my 915 driver!
Get one, but make sure you get fit up for it

Hi, we do not have all information, but depending of the use od fairway wood, you should look at the 17 degree or 4 wood. It is easier to hit. The hybrid 21 degree shoud be a good complement.
The 15 degree fairway wood should be consider if you are using it on thight fairway.
  7. Glen, My set-up is a 915F 18(5 wood), a 915F(7 wood), a 915H 24 degree, and a 915H 27 degree. That gives me about 10 yards between clubs and works great for me. The 5 wood was a resent change and it goes within 15 yards of my driver. Also I must tell you I'm 65 years old.
