At the end of last season, I upgraded almost all of my bag to Titleist- I was fitted for a 716 AP2s, New Titleist Hybrid, Scotty Cameron X5 and my wife even surprised me with a brand new Titleist 14 way stand bag. I bought Vokey SM5s the year before so other than my driver and 3 wood, I am all Titleist. This was my first Titleist experience and I have to say I am in LOVE with my clubs. I finally was able to get them out on the course for 9 holes and shot a 39! My best 9 last year was a 43 so they are already doing there job. Lastly, Titleist sent me out a bag tag to complete everything.

Thank you Titleist for making great clubs and sending me a bag tag!

It's always great when you get a little surprise in the mail from Team Titleist. Your new bag set-up is great and it sounds like you are going to have a really good year based on your first 9 results.

I did the same, new Titleist Driver, fitted for and purchased 716 AP2's and my Mrs surprised me with a bag. A tag would be sweet

I am well on my way to upgrading my whole bag too. I have ordered a set of CB's and a 915 5 wood. New stand bag coming soon. Enjoy your new clubs.

Considering replacing my trusty Anser 2 with a Cameron Newport 2 which will complete my bag as well.

Congrats on your upgrade! I'm in the process of doing a full upgrade to Titleist as well (just waiting on my home shop to be up and rolling), and it's good to hear they're doing the job for you. Makes me very excitied for this season. Especially since my best 9 was also 43, so hopefully that 39 is the start of a trend that i can get in on.
  7. I totally upgraded my bag as well; this was a gift to myself for graduating my Masters program. I kept my woods (3 and 5 TM burners). I was fitted yesterday for AP1s and it's going to be my first nicer set of clubs (I'm a pretty high handicap). I just got some second hand BV sm5 wedges. I am super excited to see how the bag comes together and to get out to play my first round.

I am still trying to decide whether I am going to go with the Titleist 915 D2 driver or the TM M2, so I would love to have some advice from the more experienced on this forum as to what I should do to finish out the set.

Congratulations. I remember when I completed my bag. Guys at the course would comment; "All Titleist?" and I would say with pride, "yes sir". Making a new addition to the bag next week. Should be arriving by UPS on Wednesday. whiles I am in Hilton Head playing golf at Oyster Reef with Chris who is also a member of TT and a FJA. Have to come up with a good story about the arrival of a new Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Select 2015 Model (I am giving my Newport 2 Select Notchback a rest for a while.). Let go with I am selling one of my other SC putters. Actually may have found a buyer for my Studio. He tried it today and will let me know. Life is good when you play Titleist.
  10. I have to say I have been a huge Titleist fan and have used their products for well over 20 years my garage is full of Titleist clubs I have used along with 3 Scotty Cameron putters and several vokey wedges. I believe Titleist make the best clubs in the world. With that said I just purchased a new 915 D3 8.5 driver with aldilla rouge silver 70 xstiff, new Scotty Cameron golo 7 35 inch that I made into a dual balance by adding 50 grams to the head and butt end of the grip, Along with a new vokey sm6 wedge. I absolutely love these new products and hopefully I can lower my 3 handicap. I can't say enough about the quality of Titleist products.

I added a Scotty Newport Putter this year. the only non Titleist in my bag now is my Driver. I hope to get fitted for a D2 driver this year, but with golf season starting in two weeks, it's not in the budget.
Seeing how the driver and putter are used the most they should be the right clubs.
  12. Great job, keep up the great golf
