  1. I play an all Titleist bag except my 3 wood. I cannot find a Titleist driver that sets up and plays better then my RBZ fairway wood.

Can you guys tell me what you play and how you like it off the tee

I use a 913Fd. No complaints, it's one of my favorite clubs in the bag. If I'm having an off day with the driver, which is pretty much any day that ends in "y", I use it off the tee instead with very little loss in distance.

I played the 913F for a long time - great off the tee but I struggled with it off the deck. Demo'ed the 915f and this thing flat performs! If holes require accuracy I have no hesitancy of hitting 3-wood. If I hit it good I don't feel like I lose too much distance (20-30) vs Driver but I'm playing from the short grass. I don't see it going anywhere ...

The 915f was my first Titleist club. Consider that this club was the catalyst for my bag now containing 10 Titleist clubs, with 2 more planned. Yes I enjoy this club as it out drives my Driver occasionally (non-Titleist... for now...) and sometimes allows me to nearly double my drive with my second shot from the fairway/deck.

Now, I've never hit the RBZ fairway, so I can't compare with that.

I used to play the TM SLDR as my 3-wood prior to my 915F. Now, I really enjoy using my Titleist 3-wood (or metal as you prefer). I get a really good ball flight, it is extremely easy to hit my shots with and it gives me the ability to really work the ball (either left to right or vise versa).

I rely on it off the tee for shorter holes/dog legs, etc. where a driver may put me through the fairway -- all in all it is a very reliable club that is versatile -- off the tee and/or the fairway deck as needed.

So Ken, it is definitely worth a trip to your local demo day or Titleist fitter to try the club out. I'm pretty confident that you will like the results.

My favorite fairway metal is my 910f, 17 degree with Kai'li Shaft. The stock shaft length suites me better, and the smaller head shape seems to help me strike the ball more purely than the wider 15 degree fairway metals out there.

I play the TM r15 3 wood and absolutely love it. It's a rocket ship and my favorite club in the bag. My father plays the 915 3 wood and driver and both are very good clubs as well.

I too have the RBZ 3 degree fairway wood. It is the oldest club right now in my golf bag. It is the club that sometimes could out drive my 915D3 and I don't think there is any plan to replace it.

I have also gotten Titleist 913Fd as a gift from a friend. Since the two fairway woods give me different distance, I kept both of them. Comparing both, RBZ and Titleist are good clubs but RBZ gives better distance whereas Titleist is more forgiving.

So, if I have a off day with RBZ, I will use Titleist.
  9. Now.. I went and hit the 915 today. Why oh why did they make the 915FD smaller then the standard 915F?
Very disappointing. Of all the titleist woods I hit. The 910FD was the best for me

I still hit the 904f 3 wood with a graphite design purple ice shaft and I love it. I have tried the newer titleist woods and some other brands but nothing compares to the 904. I would like something a little more forgiving but just haven't found it yet
