Oil Steel Shaft

    I just got my new AP2 iron with steel shaft and I would like to keep these wonderful irons as long as I could.

    From my previous iron set, I noticed rust starts to appear after three years. Does the steel shaft require periodic oiling in order to prevent rust to buildup?

    The way I maintain my clubs in good condition:
    Clean them after use. Dont let them in a wet bag after use. Never puncture the small hole in the top of the grip to avoid moisture inside the shaft. Apply once a while wd40 on shaft.
    Replace club gently in the bag after a bad shot.(this is the hard part).
    This should do the job.
