    I want to purchase full Titleist gear so got fitted at a pro shop. AP1 716 irons swingspeed 80mph with a reg flex XP90. Driver, the 915D3, both stiff and reg tested. Both had a swingspeed around 95-97mph. Diamana Blue 70gram on the reg. Fail to remember which one with the stiff flex. Hit the ball higher and more straight with reg flex. Could be I was getting tired when I trying the Stiff flex.

    Fitter believes regular in irons but I am borderline with the driver. So what to choose?

    Same dilemma will come into play I guess when getting the 3 wood and the hybrid

    Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    I would say make sure you go to a fitter that has other options. Just had a buddy (8 handicap) go for a full outside fitting with at a Titleist center - wound up with a full Titleist bag except the driver. He couldn't get the spin numbers down and wound up in a Big Bertha driver after trying several brands. He is very very happy as he never realized how much his spin was hurting his distance on the driver.
