  1. Recently set out to update my irons and specifically went to the local shop for the AP1. What a fantastic set of irons they are! I went with the 4-pw with the XP90 in stiff flex. Also added the SM5 wedges in 46, 50, 54 and 58. The AP's look incredible for such a forgiving club and they feel great. Ball flight and distance are exactly what I am looking to achieve. I have been a loyal Titleist guy for the better part of my 45 years and have not once been disappointed in any of the products! Exceptional quality and stellar performance!

I too was fitted for ap1716. I love themhad 714 but these feel so much better to my game as being an older golfer fitted with softer flex much better feel and much easier to hit as well play 913 driver vokeycustom k wedges and Newport two putter can't say enough about the titleist products and their understanding the normal everyday golfer and his needs. As to other company's that put out anew and better product every three months or so I would be so upset if payed thegoing rate for new clubs and 3 month later they have lost half the value! Titleist is the best products I think!!!
  5. Hi Harry.
I'm glad to hear that the irons have been good for your game.
I play the AP1 714 in R300 SP95 steel. I have been thinking about going to graphite and even senior flex. I'm 73 and while I am very straight hitter, I could use more distance. I'm hitting the 7 iron 127-130, 6I 135-145, but the short irons are less than I want, about 105 for a PW.
Did the senior flex add any distance or did it come just from the new club head?

Loved my 714 ap1s. Now my nephew is enjoying them. Looking forward to getting the 716. His buddy is a Titleist rep, who plays the 716's my nephew tried them out and fell in love. He'll have to wait to get my 716's. Thanks Titleist for great products! In my eyes superior to other companies.

I love mine and they are in the house with me for the winter.
  8. Great to hear! Looking to buy them as well. May I ask your swingspeed in irons as fitter not sure whether to go for reg of stiff. My swingspeed is 80 with the irons. Thanks

My swing speed with a 7 iron is between 88-92. I could have bumped to an "X" but my tempo and transition is on the slower side. I don't load the shaft hard in the transition so I felt the "S" was sufficient for me and the fitter agreed. So far I am very happy with the results!

MY WIFE THINKS I BRAG TO MUCH ABOUT MY CLUBS BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A BAG FULL OF Titleist YOU HAVE THE BEST. I THINK YOU FOLKS AGREE. NOT ONLY DO I HAVE 716 AP1'S 5-PW I PLAY A 913 DRIVER THAT I'M SURE I'LL GET OUT OF CONTROL AND GET A 2017 MODEL. I ALSO PLAY 913 H AND RECENTLY GOT A 816 H 23o AND LAST YEAR A 915 3 WOOD WITCH YOU ALL NEED TO TRY THE 816 BECAUSE IT A GAME CHANGER. I HAVE THREE VOKIES 46,50,52. AND ALONG WITH A SCOTTY IVE HAD ALOT OF SUCCESS WITH. I LOOK GREAT OUT THERE BUT IT'S EASY TO GO DOWN HILL BECAUSE LOOKIN GOOD IS THE EASY PART. I'M 62 NOW AND LIVING IN ALASKA FOR 40 YEARS. THIS SUMMER I'M RETIREING TO BOSIE SO I,F ANY TEAM MAMBERS ARE IN THE AREA IT WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW YA! MY WIFE AND I DON'T KNOW ANYONE IN IDAHO... GOOD REASON TO MOVE RIGHT.
