  1. 12 handicap. Good short game (from 150 in) and great off the tee. I have been playing with the 915h hybrids all year. I have my good days and bad days with them. I personally feel that it's because of the Fairway look and the angle of my swing. I'm thinking the 915hd or 816H might be better suited for my game. I almost always take a small divot with my hybrids. I hit both at a local golf store but I'm hitting off a mat and I don't feel that I'm getting a true indication of how the club or my swing would be on the course. Thanks for any opinions!!!

Jeff, I was in the same boat. I had the 915h in a #4 hybrid. I just got the 816#3 iron. Was smoking it in the simulator with a little draw. Got out to the course and had the same results as in the simulator. Awesome club, you cant go wrong. Hit em straight! Phil

I agree with Phil, I have always hated hybrids and used a 2 iron until a demo day and hit the 816 H2 21 degree. I love this hybrid it is the best hybrid I  have ever hit I would say even better than the TMB 2 iron.

That is why I went for a demo day to see my Titleist fitter Billie. When it comes to hybrids, not only do I want the right head, I want to make sure that I get the right engine to move that head. Last year, when he fitted me for my 915h (I am a picker and therefore do not take much if any divot with my hybrids) he put a Aldila Black Rogue stiff shaft in it and has worked perfectly for me. I thought to myself that this year I would try the 816H1, designed more for the picker with the same shaft (I also have that in my 915D2). I hit it a few times, good results and he handed me the new Fujikura Motore Speeder HB 8.8 Tour Spec stiff shaft and the results were excellant. Accuracy - dead on. Beautiful height. Length, exactly what I was looking for and more. So what I am saying, I know what I wanted, but there is a lot to getting the right set up and those Titleist fitters know their stuff. Do yourself a big favor and go see one. The 816 is awesome, but if you take small divots you may not need the hd or the H2. Let the professional take a look. Cheers and good luck. Chuck
