Going to a 915D2 would decrease the spin. Hope that you are seeing a fitter to resolve this problem. They can help you with this problem very quickly. I currently hit a 915D2 10.25* with a Aldila Black Rogue 70 stiff and my spin is around 2000-2500. This was determined to be best fit by a trained fitter for accuracy and distance. I am turning 69 in 60 days and hit it around the 240-250 range, but again, I rely on a certified fitter for best results when purchasing a new club. I was hitting a 910D3 9.5* Diamana White 72 stiff before upgrading to the 915. I feel that I am hitting equally in distance, but the accuracy is the deal sealer. I am out driving my buddies in my group who are playing the 910s and 913s who are younger than me and who have been playing golf since they were kids. I took up golf in 1984 and my handicap floats between a 9 and an 11 and am the high handicapper in my group.
