I just bought the new 915 D2 and brought it to the range. I hit around 20 golf balls and none of them felt solid and none sounded good. I took a break to try and figure out what was wrong with my driver, to only conclude that I was going to bring it back to the golf shop and ask for advice. I finally decided to try to hit it again, but realized just before that I did not remove the (relatively thick) piece of plastic covering the bottom of the club. I removed it and started hitting a few more balls. After I took the plastic piece off, the sound improved and the feel also was normal again. Could it be possible that the plastic had something to do with the sound and feel of the club? Let me know what you think. Thanks!
